China Medical University overview
China Medical University (CMU) is in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and was founded in 1931. It is described as the first medical school established by the Communist Party of China.
CMU has taught MBBS in English since 1978 and lists more than 1,500 foreign students and more than 12 batches of MBBS graduates. The program runs for five years plus a one-year internship, and it is listed by the Ministry of Education.
Graduates are described as eligible for USMLE, PLAB and ECFMG, and Pakistani graduates can sit the PM&DC licensing exam.
