Qiqihar Medical University overview
Qiqihar Medical University was founded in 1946 and is a provincial public medical university in Qiqihar, western Heilongjiang Province, in northeast China. It is funded by the provincial government.
According to China Daily's university profile, the campus covers 1.1 million square meters, and the university has about 18,000 students, 19 undergraduate majors and four affiliated hospitals, together with other unaffiliated and teaching hospitals.
The university passed the Ministry of Education's professional certification of Clinical Medicine in 2013 and of Nursing in 2015, according to its English profile.
