Hubei Polytechnic University was founded in 1975 and is in Huangshi, Hubei Province. It has four directly affiliated hospitals.
More than 400 international students study there, mostly from Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand and African countries such as Zambia and South Africa. Several batches of international students have already graduated in MBBS.
The MBBS program is 1 + 5 years: the first year is Chinese language study, and students must pass HSK 4 in the first academic year to continue into the five-year medical program.
