Hebei North University overview
Hebei North University is a public university in Zhangjiakou, a city that co-hosted the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. According to the university's own introduction it has more than 25,000 full-time students, including 1,695 master's students and 290 international students.
Clinical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and medical laboratory technology are described as traditional strengths, with more than 40 years of undergraduate teaching.
The university traces its medical education to the Jin-Cha-Ji Bethune Health School, founded in 1945. It became Zhangjiakou Medical College in 1982, began enrolling clinical medicine undergraduates in 1983 and master's students in 2007. The clinical medicine page lists six medical schools, 37 teaching hospitals, 43 internship hospitals and 88 clinical teaching bases.
